I know I've only been registered on the forums for under an hour but this has inspired me alot. Awhile ago at my nephews birthday party my oldest step brother and my dad argued all night long. Then the arguing stopped, I haven't seen my brother face to face in over 5 years. I've seen him in the street but by the time I go on and speak to him, He's gone. This has inspired me to find out, where he lives. My step sister has contact with him and I shall be contacting her for some details on my brother. She said that he has started a band with his wife and that they have a gig on my birthday (A week from now). I might go and see him at the gig to see his reaction with me, I've done nothing wrong but untill know all I've heard is my mothers and fathers side of what happened that night, but I want the past to be the past.

Welcome to our forum,
I’m so glad to hear the you are seeking your brother.
In my case it was a sad ending, but I still have 3 other family members I haven’t talked with for just under 20 years.
Anything can change that.
It sounds as though you had nothing to do with the reason your brother left.
He very well may be missing you too but doesn’t know where you stand,
. It’s the unknowing in most cases that keeps things from changing.
Sometimes just a small push from a friend can make it happen.
I Hope Hope you see your brother.
This is the best birthday of your life.
You deserve it and so doesn’t he.
You both miss each other and God has shown a path to each other.

Dear Fawn,

I don't know why but I decided to look for my son that i haven't seen in 10 years because of a nasty devorce. Well I found him on My Space last night! He is 18 today! We shall see what happens..he is very confused at this point but i have to be very patient. He responded once to me. I am still waiting for more. Just had to share that with you. I love you Jim so I rescued you from the punishing heat of the Mohave Desert. I used money that was meant for my medication to get you here immediately. Some day you can pay me back. I bought you tobacco to get you by for your fist month, using money out of the only 70 dollars I had left for that month.
I asked you to show some kind of effort by the June 6, 2009 to change your life and try to get yourself going.
I haven’t seen that. I am your sister, not your keeper. Your are still homeless Jim. You are only my guest. August 1st 2009 Is your deadline to find your home.
At this point I can only hope that from today until August 1st 2009 you take this very seriously and help yourself so I don’t have to put you back on the street.
I can sleep at night knowing I have tried my best.
I will no longer pester you to do for yourself until you leave. That will be up to you. I want you to be mindful of my electrically, water and other necessities. I pay for These things and they cannot be over used. Please shut off your lights during the day and TV off at night .I will not be buying any more tobacco so I hope you are prepared for that change.
During your time here, I don’t want any illegal drugs in my home. No guests at any time.
I cannot offer you my computer anymore. Although you are welcome to use the phone if available.

This really brakes my heart

My brother has been in accident.
Broke Both legs. A car hit him.
He is no longer responsible for his mental health.
I will Go to court in to Become his conservative.
The court has deemed him a child.
He hopefully will now get the help he needs.
It was what God had to do.
But I feel so responsible.
He is going in a nursing home until he is rehabilitated.
And Then What
So Sad

Do not feel responsible for this grown man. This is and always has been in Gods hands..you know that. This was his way to start your brother on a new path..a path he has not yet been smart enough to follow and maybe he will be now. I am truly sorry he got hurt..but for most of us living on this planet it usually takes a tradegy of sorts to "wake" people up..even to our own. You have done nothing wrong in the eyes of God and to that I say God Bless you Fawn. Follow the Path he has set forth...he will guide you...give it up to him and it all will be ok...Know that I pray for you every night and day and this day is no different. You are one of many "angels"...cry if you must...but tomorrow is a new day for all..especially for your brother and you.
