Nice video! I like Nottingham. Do you enjoy flying the Tomahawk? I obtained my PPL recently and have a little time on Tomahawks. They're interesting to fly. If you're training for your PPL, I wish you good luck and all the best for it.

Yer i fly a tomahawk at EGBN.. they are nice planes to fly, they were designed to be a lot more difficult to handle than typical GA planes so you can transition to larger planes easier lol.

This is a funny shot. Although, it probably was not funny for the pilot, and definitely not for the RIO.

If I remember correctly Piper asked flying schools about what they required in a trainer and most wanted the plane to spin/stall properly (its harder to make C152 and C172's stall) Theres pros and cons to that though really. If you, like me, wish to fly commercially its a good idea.. if you want to fly recreationally then a Cessna would be better afterall if its harder to stall then that can only be a good thing really.

DJ,
I can't believe you posted a picture of that boat. I grew up in Sunrise just a few blocks away from where that thing is docked. Too cool man. Here's a bit of history on it. It's the fuselage of an old Boeing Model 307 airliner. The aircraft just happens to have been owned and flown by the late great Mr. Howard Hughes. Pretty amazing. Supposedly it still has many of the original furnishings inside.
