You're not wrong bb. Give him a kick in the butt for having all those untidy leads hanging around. Very messy indeed.

Yes. E6600 is a great little chip
I am thinking of watercooling . Well, a case with watercooling built in. Do you think it would be worthwhile?

I gotta get some more HD space. Had this PC 7/8 months. Already used up 233GB. Oops

Make sure you get a decent res for a water cooled set up. I got fed up of the maitenance when i did mine a few years back. Is well cool though, added a bit of food colouring to the water though the missus wouldn't let me put a fish in the res. Pumped mine through a cheapo water pump out of a fish tank.

Cases with cheapo watercooling built in [thermaltake, gigabyte, etc] are pieces of crap.

The only good watercooling system is one you build yourself, or a good kit from a reliable company [Swiftech]

Stay away from Thermaltake [inferior materials, design, components], koolance [different metals in teh same loop = corrosion and crap]

In general this is what you would need for watercooling:

Reservoir [stay away from res' fitting in your cd or floppy bays, they are inferior in design and crack]
CPU Block [usually swiftech apogees and storm, and a few others]
Radiatior [only get: swiftech mcr series, thermochill pa series for max performance, black ice pros for medium perf]
Pump [go for a laing d5 if you have hte money, or else something like a D-Tek dB-1]
Fans [since wc'ng is usually for quiet, get some good yate loons]
Coolant [use distilled water + additive like pentosin for anti-algae and stuff; stay away from crap like pc ice]
Tubing [people like tygon, but its really expensive and hard to bend; masterkleer is the standard these days; go with no less than 7/16" ID, or else you have crap flow [thermaltake uses 1/4" which is hella bad]]
Extras [clamps, fittings, etc]
