my last computer (which i had to sell when i got ill) was the best (though i made it so long ago i can;t rememebr alot of the specifics
)AMD 4800+ x2 gigabyte board (can;'t remember the model) 2x 1 GB heatsinked ddr Nvidia 6800GT firewire dual tuner analog/digital capture device 5.1 surround sound sound card and speakers 19" widescreen monitor and a remote

Wish I had the knowledge or the b*lls to attempt to build my own rig.
Currently running; P4 2.8Ghz 1.5GB RAM 80GB HD Nvidia 6600 card Just been in touch with a local small company who are going to quote me on building a tower. Have asked them for; Core Duo processor at least 4Ghz At least 4GB RAM 500GB HD Top end Graphics card. Now just waiting for the Ouch Factor when the quote hits my inbox. Cheers Stew |
