Cooling is everything when you go overclocking (werhter its CPU or graphics card, it doesnt matter)
IF you decide to do it cheap, and don't change the cooling, you might as well not do it, as either you will fry your processor, or won't notice any performance increase. IF you go big, you'd better get some decent cooling, and you can go far ![]() are you sure your pc is clean of adware, spyware and all other lagging stuff? i just had a thing like that with GTR2. clean the adware, the game runs better (was actually 1 dll file :S) Cheers, Muerte

Huuummm... What is a heatsink/fan? How much can I get that for?
About cleaning...I am not sure if its really is clean... Because recently I cannot update anything...No windows or Live One care...I tried asking Mircrosoft but they dont have a solution for it yet! I use to get an average of 20FPS in MSFlight Simulator... but its kind of slowed down, thats why i want to overclock can any of you guys help me on MSN? One on One? If possible add me: abdulahad79@hotmail.com Btw, I cant seem to locate the clocking section in the BIOS... can anyone help in that area too please? Thanks! _______________________________________________ Abdul |

A heatsink/fan is whats on top of your cpu, open your case up and you should see.
your motherboard manual should explain all the bios settings, if you dont have one or don't know which motherboard you have, first download CPU-Z (http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php) and it will give you everything you need. then look it up on the motherboard manufacturers website. HOWEVER, it seems you have a bigger problem than that. You could also try setting graphics options a bit lower (especially Anti-aliasing uses a lot of GPU power, so try to set that lower) before you start destroying your system ![]() If that doesnt help, you can always format the system drive to make sure its free of anything lagging you (spyware, adware etc) It seems you have a decent system for gaming, and 20 fps is ridiculously low hope this helps, Muerte
