Thumbs up KFC. 11 Herbs & Spices.

If you ever want to make KFC at home,
here are some KFC 11 Herbs & Spices.

2 Teaspoon Paprika
2 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
2 Teaspoons Onion Salt
1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
1 Teaspoon Dried Rubbed Sage
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Powdered Rosemary
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Powdered Thyme
1 Teaspoon Dried Parsley
1 Teaspoon Marjoram
1 1/2 Tablespoon Salt
2 to 3 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

(grind the herbs up properly into powder)

And I personally, add 1 Tablespoon Sugar.

The items you will need to make KFC ....

20 or more chicken pieces.
5 cups of milk.
2 eggs.
5 Cups of Flour.
The 11 Herbs and Spices.
Crisco shortening frying.

Making and cooking ...

1. Combine eggs and milk.
2. Soak the chicken in the Egg and Milk mix for about 1 hour
3. Combine Flour and the 11 Herbs & Spices
4. Remove Chicken from Egg and Milk Mix
5. Coat in the Flour and The 11 Herbs and Spices mix, then back in to the eggs mix and then back in to the breading mix
6. Fry coated Chicken for about 25 to 30 minutes on a medium heat, turning often.
7. Remove and place on a rack for about 5 minutes and then serve

Also I personally, after frying, zap them in the microwave for about 30 - 60 seconds to make sure the inside is cooked.
And it makes them juicy too.

Enjoy!

Re: KFC. 11 Herbs & Spices.

Have you been working at KFC? ^^ Sounds very good, an I will test it the next time, too. I had a likely mixture of spices in another recipe - maybe I'll find it anywhere, so I can post it here...

Hi Steff

I have a very clever chef friend
that tried for years to copy the 11 secret herbs and spices.

It's very nice!
And I add a bit more chili than the average bear
