Hello Everyone,
Please lend me a minute of your time. I will be discussing download links here. It is quite obvious that we WickedFriends most of time use rapidshare as for sharing programs etc. I have used rapidshare also to post links and to download stuff and everyone will agree the 100Mb space for most programs movies etc is awfully small and we allowed only a few downloads in hours. This pretty annoying and yet we don’t use any other site that allows storage. The message I am trying to carry across is that it is time we change. I know with rapidshare you know the number of people who download but is it really needed? Let us all make a conscious effort to try different links to share files. There are other sites and there’s even a list on WickedFriends but I have place them here just in case. I suggest

That problems easily fixed by paying for a premium account. Premium is no hassel, not expensive, instant downloads with no limits.

I'll be sticking with Rapidshare, but guess it's everyones personal choice whether they want to pay for an account or not.

I'm not that happy with ftp's muerte. My experience has been that they are too slow. Rapidshare has always done it a lot quicker for me.

the reason most of the time the links are from rapidshare in the first place is because most links aren't generated from here

it's the most popular site, and most people have just grown to accept that...

if most of the shares were uploaded by WF members, I'm sure there would be a lot less rapidshare links

most of the people that have rapidshare accounts are happy with that, and they'd prefer everything to be with rapidshare, it's just easy to work with if you have an account... you just copy your links and open your download manager... quite convenient, the problem with other sites like mediafire, is generally it's slower, and it's not as easy to start the download

Thats a slap to the poverish, not everyone likes the idea of just a one day pay and there are a few of us that dont Trust givin out creditcard or paypal info..

Cuz to knock another members form of sharing is about cool as stepping on yer moms dog just cuz she wont give ya a candy..however and whatever way another person shares or helps the board is all that matters to me, as it shows to all that they are trying to help as best as they can.


As for the idea of alternative links to Rapidshare..I been trying for a long time to find suitable and easy ways to up and share and download { For Free Cuz I iz a very cheap bastad }..so if ya find a really good and trusty one..post and share the wealth Brudder

Apology accepted Redbear, but I just have to say that I had no idea what you were talking about in that last post of yours when I was reading it. To be honest I was quite shocked by what you were saying.
I'm not mad buddy and I don't understand how you could have taken my comments as being like you said "I've got my panties in a shrivel" or having a "mad tone" Sorry you took it as me having a certain type of tone, but I can assure you that you were wrong.

All I was doing was saying how I felt about ftp's in general for me. Not bagging any members and the way they share. All I said was that I find ftp's for me are slower than if I use rapidshare.

I like Rapidshare. That's all. Others hate it. It's a personal choice. If others want whatever else, that's fine with me. But all I said was that I will be sticking to Rapidshare mate. I've got an account, had it for a couple of years now and I find it's great.

My intention was certainly not to upset anyone and I'm sorry that you took it that way. My apologies man.
