As some of you have noticed and have received Private Messages. We have been installing new things on the forum. So lets explain exactly what is being installed.
We have added a new Donation system, it is actually an upgrade of the old one. Some of you may have gotten an "award" PM stating you donated more than you have. Please ignore those for the most part. As we switched to the new donation system we had a problem where all the transactions were duplicated and quadrupled. You all now have the appropriate amounts and appropriate awards. You will see them in your postbit when you post. Another thing that some of you have already found out is the Credit system, or the Bank Account. We are still tweaking settings but feel free to use this system and get acquainted. Every time you view a thread or post or do a numerous amount of things on the board you will get credits. You can use credits for many things and we will be adding more features in the future. At this time we are having a Lottery every Wednesday. The prices are different for everyone and we will be adding different kinds of lotteries. We will also have special things for people who donate to a certain award or have a certain amount of credits including people who can participate in new beta testing of the new forum software. As we head into the end of the summer we plan to open up many new features and amenities to our users. While we may experience difficulties and/or problems we ask that you check the Announcement and Feedback area (including gripes forum) to see if your problem has been posted. If it hasn't then post it and an administrator will respond and fix the problem ASAP. Thank you for all your continued support and please enjoy these new features. Thor |
