Havent been online for almost a year... first thing I see is my friend Bon is gone.

I have been reading this topic on and off for weeks. I knew Bon, not very well, but when wd was no more Bon asked me to track down some of the members who she had not been able to contact about the new wf. At the time, I was deep into research, and was happy to help her with her request. Apart from that enounter, I always found her posts where ever they were to be most helpful, esp in Inspiration.

I still cannot believe she's passed away. I do trust and hope Bon will live on in our hearts and our minds for eternity. Bon helped me be a better person. I will miss her.

I'll have to leave it there for this post.. (as tears flow down my face...)

hi all, i'm new & been surfing WickedFriends for few months..
and i must say that BON must be a truly special person for WF community..

i maybe don't know her personally, nor interactively..
but after reading all her stories/comments 'bout her, i juz felt like i've become one her friend as well, spiritually..

so guys, pls allow me to share the mourn & give my deepest sympathy towards BON's family members & all her friends here..

Many people may know me from before, yes I am back but not to overstay my visit, I heard the bad news about Bon and I just wanted to give my respects to a Wonderful Woman. May you rest in peace and harmony. Thank you for everything you helped me with and I wish I could have done some more to repay back all the things you did for myself and the community (WF).

My full thoughts are and will always be with the family and friends of Bon.

I remember Bon as a caring giving person who would give the shoes off her feet if you needed them, I knew her from the first Board, we chatted may timed over the phone at my work place and many email and pm’s. Before retiring I had a little cabin in the Cumberland plateau outside of Crossville Tennessee and she always said she was going to move in there, lol. She shared with me a lot of happy moments but she very rarely said or complained about her health, yes I knew she was going to the doctor and had many problems. but she was more interested in the things you were discussing, Granted she would chew my a** out if I needed it and try to get me to see it her way, and I loved her for that. I know for a fact she sent a friend of hers money to catch up her mortgage because the banks were going to foreclose. Don’t get me wrong, Bon was not rich, as most of you know she shared an apartment with a friend to split the rent. She was really concerned for her roommate’s financial situation and love life more than he own, that’s the kind of person Bon was and she will be missed by many from her neighborhood and by a lot from her old neighborhood. I think of bon every day .Please God, sit bon down in the first row. Peace

I havre tried and tried to post something that makes sense. But i just can't find the right words. And those few words I know, somehow wont become a sentence with meaning. So I just say, I miss her. And I always will.
But I like to believe there is truth in this eskimo legend:

"Perhaps, they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings
where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."

That's exactly the way I have been feeling myself mate. I've tried and tried to write something and everytime I sit down to do it I get so goddam choked up.

I miss her too like crazy. Not a day has gone by that I haven't thought of her and shed a tear since we got the sad news.

This news came to me as a shock. It was just like we were chatting yesterday and today she is no longer with us.

Bon was one of the first people I met on WD and had been great friends with her ever since. She was a woman who inspired hope and gave strength to those in need. Her contributions to this community and to this world can never be forgotton. She was and still is the SuperBon as we all old timers remember....
