A couple days ago some of you may have received emails about your jabber account details or a "welcome to wickedfriends" style mail with username and password.
This was mistake, but now you have all received the correct email and can now log into the new wickedfriends jabber server. Jabber is an Instant Messaging protocol. With this we hope to provide everyone with not only a chat system but also a way to talk to any member privately. Below you will a tutorial with the client we recommend. You may use any Jabber or XMPP client you wish but beware not all clients are allowed. For more advanced users we have enabled our users to connect to users of many other messenger clients such as (AIM, Yahoo, MSN, Google) as time goes on we will also try to expand into other messenger clients including IRC. This is just one of the first steps we are doing to expand WickedFriends. We hope in due time we will also have an IRC server, Working Teamspeak server, and a torrent tracker. To download the windows client click the link below: Download Windows Client To download the mac client click the link below: Download Mac Client To download the linux client click the link below: Download Linux Client To connect simply install the program... Enter your wickedfriends username as the username. Use the password from the email sent to you. And server is wickedfriends.org. See the screenshot below.  Once logged in you should see a list of Administrators and Moderators. Please do not disturb these users unless you need to. Excess spamming of any user, including moderators who have asked you to stop, will result in suspension of your jabber account and possibly action taken on your wickedfriends forum account. If you did not get an email with your username and password please PM Thor and he will send you an email with the correct information. But please allow 24-48 hours from the time this is posted or you have signed up which ever is later. You may IM Thor at anytime with any questions or concerns you have. Well i give up !!!! put sent password in "invalid" comes up even though the the correct username is put in !!!!"! ok so i did it wrong works a treat

Well, It has been very long time since I used jabber protocol.
I always use Kopete client. No problem logging. http://kopete.kde.org/ For you, people of Windoze, I'd recommend that you use Pidgin Client. It's multiprotocol client supporting all possible protocols http://sourceforge.net/project/mirro....1.exe&abmode=
