for me, it's always the same story...
1. credit cards are a bad choice for payments over the internet (in europe).
the card-info gets stolen from the internet, and duplicate cards are made in minutes. news broadcasts keep warning us not to use our credit cards over the internet...

2. from what i can see on the paypall info page, this also works with a credit card.

3. for some reason, US members are very carefull with bank information... therefor a bank-to-bank transfer is out of the question.

4. i doubt that the moderator of this site will send me his full name and adress, in order to send him 5$ by mail.


so you see it's not always a question of having 5$, or wanting to spend 5$. sometimes it's a question of how to get it there...
i don't mind the 5$... just tell me how i can give it to you.

well, it probably depends the country you live in... i have a paypal account for years, but never used it because of the credit card problem.
i've just tried it again, to see if it was possible to transfer money from my bank account. and this is what i get to see:

Add Funds is Not Available

PayPal does not currently offer the ability to add funds from your bank account. 

When you make a payment, PayPal charges the buyer's credit card and instantly credits the seller's PayPal account.

looks like there hasn't been much change yet...

I would love to contribute. But I can't as Paypal does not accept cradit card from our part. May be someday I will do for others. Just Like Bon.

And yes Bon is right, and I am of the same opinion.

In keeping with the above paragraph, I am now able to re-pay via donating for others. When you do something good for someone, you most likely will not be re-paid by that person, but you will, indeed, be re-paid by some other means - this could be from the wonderful people on here or it could just come from out of nowhere in your private life.
