i've been told someone paid $5 for me. :shy: don't know who it was but thanks
 I have a few guesses tho. I can't use paypal as i have no bank account in my name (stupid payee has it) and no credit card. I also have to live on $70/week and a whopping $15/month in food stamps :rolleyes: Only way i can donate is to mail a money order. Maybe an admin could get a P.O. Box # to keep things anonymous??????? Paypal is just impossible for me and i suspect for many, especially those under 18 that can't get credit cards.thanks again to whoever sponsored me

Quite amazing only three plain members responded and the rest are already either elite or private or mod
 Well I was hoping this would draw a lot more needy people but I guess there aren't many. Guess well just have to see if any of those plain members become private

never mind... i give up...
still, i'd like to know just why ppl are making such a fuzz out of giving their bank account info. i don't see what could possibly be the problem, as one can only deposit money on a bank account number. i do bank-to-bank transfers on a daily base... never encountered any problems with them, though... in fact, i don't mind publishing my bank account number worldwide... never know there might be some rediculesly rich guy, who is tired of his money and puts it on my account to get rid of it...  thanx anyway, franco

hmmm... if my car dealer couldn't give me $5 off the price of a car, i would find me another car-dealer.
maybe you should consider buying your car in belgium... you can get up to $2000 on extras for a car that costs less than $7000 here... the car-market is really falling apart nowadays... franco

For me it is simply a matter of principal. I don't come here to get access to things and seldom download anything. I do occassionally grab something but it is pretty infrequent. I enjoy the discussion and helping/learning to solve problems as well as filling requests when I can.
I do like this site very much and many of the members however so I will very likely donate in the future. |
