Reasons why I can't Donate to WF

I've sponsored a few for "legal" reasons. But i might join you lobstology, as long as we're not herasing somebody here... [/b]

Blind 3 year old, COPS salary.... I rekon I could leave it at that but the truth is I donated to the cause before and will again, just has to be in the right pay period.I don't come here for the dloads, I come for the family. Since I can not donate right now I have my server available to use for the board.

It just goes to show you that even when people are in a bad kinda way------------they still find away to donate in one way or another The above quote is a perfect example

on the other hand I truly find it that people who are replying with some pretty lame excuses are really just writing to do something. I posted this to help out the unfortunate ones who really can't afford the $5.

There are many reasons why some cannot donate. There are those in school, those just barely making it on a limited income, those in foreign countries where PayPal and the others are not an option, and I could go on and on. These are all valid reasons and not one person should feel bad about it.

Most recall my circumstances just two years ago - I was homeless and did not have a dime to my name. I realize that this is in the extreme but things like this do happen. If it had not been for Taz spearheading donations on WD for my plight, I do not know where I'd be today. That money was a life saver and my life has been on the uphill ever since. Not one person would accept re-payment when I was once again on my feet. Not one.

In keeping with the above paragraph, I am now able to re-pay via donating for others. When you do something good for someone, you most likely will not be re-paid by that person, but you will, indeed, be re-paid by some other means - this could be from the wonderful people on here or it could just come from out of nowhere in your private life.

Personally I like to refer to this as sponsoring someone. I do not want them to know who donated for them and I do not want a + for doing this. My reward comes from the friendship and the many shares I receive.

In the past I know that No_way and I have both sponsored members. We also had a member (she was on just a short time) who sponsored aother member. These are just the ones I personally know about.

Granted, it costs quite a bit of money each month to run a forum such as this. I humbly ask that those who can consider sponsoring another member. Not only does this help to contribute to the costs of running the server, it also gives the person you are sponsoring a good feeling. I don't think I need to add in how good you, yourself, will feel by doing this.

Well if anyone cannot donate $5 I'll be happy to make the donation..but not now I just donated..catch me next week
