Do guns in the home make us safer?
What degree of gun control should we have ? Do the benefits of owning a gun outweigh the costs and vice versa?

I personally believe a society without gun's is better than one with them.
If people are going to fight, at least do it a way which doesn't endanger anyones life. You've only got to look at a country such as the USA. In the UK, people may fight with fists, which don't get me wrong isn't great, but 99% of the time, they both walk away without no real damage, when you introduce guns, at least one person will be seriously hurt. If you're going to have guns in a region, at least have some control, don't let the low lives who have nothing to do, apart from fight/cause trouble have access to them.
