Today was a pretty bad day for those who did not come to todays arrival day for the Royal International Air Tattoo. It rained from about 5AM to about 6PM, everyone was wet. Today we were expecting about 90 aircraft, about 15 came. Thats how bad the weather was but it means tommorrow that it will be packed with aircraft. The few of the Aircraft that did arrive today were a 3 C-130 Hercules, The Brazilian Tucano Team, The Alpha jet team, a few AMX etc.
I will keep everyone updated on whats happening on the build up to this weekend at RIAT 2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

90 on a Wednesday blimey thats overoptimistic! Wednesday used to be the day when all the big stuff arrived but only a few the busiest I remember was 1999. And even then it was quiet compared to Fridays or Thursdays!
I still remember the years when you could camp at the end of the runway and watch the arrivals from the Baseball diamond across the road in the old bomb storage site. Ahhh memories lol.
