Turn ur N73 Mobile to N73 MusiK Edition

If you already own the Nokia N73, you can update the firmware to the Music Edition by using the Nokia Software Update (http://www.nokia.com/A4176089) with a little trick. Retailers are just receiving the Nokia N73 Music Edition as this how-to is published, but you do not have to buy the new Nokia N73 Music Edition to take advantage of the new features. Read on to find out how to update the firmware.

Before you decide to update your Nokia N73 to the Music Edition, know that this may void your warranty and you run the risk of breaking your phone. Is it worth taking the risk? Find out first what to expect in the new Nokia N73 Music Edition.

Follow the steps.. step by step
Firstly, remember to buck up ur data from the phone to the Memory card like that: Tools/memory card/options/backup phone mem.

Download and install dis 2 app :
1) Nemesis Service Suit....

2) Nokia Software Update (latest)

Install Both software....

1. Now open NSS tool, in the upper right corner there is an icon in a shape of "magnifier", press it to find ur attached device. In the upper left corner is a button "Info", press it to find out ur phone firmware code. It should be somethin like 0538........

2. Now instead of the existing code write some of the follows:

3. After u enter the desired code in the "Product code" field press the "Write" button below. That's it for now - exit the NSS tool software.
(You might think that nothing happened, because the phone is still in normal mode, and the changing of the product code only takes a couple of seconds, but don?t worry, the product code changed !).

The first part of the update is done, now follow the second....

4. Now Run NSU (Nokia Software Update)

3. Follow the steps on NSU. And Update ur Phone.

That?s it! After Update Finish... Restart your phone, it should now be the Nokia N73 Music Edition!

REMEMBER:

1. YOUR PHONE SHOULD NOT BE IN OFFLINE MODE (ACCORDING TO ME SILENT MODE IS THE BEST WHILE DOING THIS SO NOONE DISTURBS U AS THE VIBRATION CAN DISCONNECT UR FONE )

2. THE NEW FIRMWARE COULD BE ABOVE 70-76 MB AND UR PHONE SHOULD NOT BE DISCONNECTED AT ANY TIME IN THE PROCESS (COZ IT MAY COMPLETELY RUINE UR FONE)

3. ITS NOT RISKY (WORKED OUT REALLY WELL IN MY N73)
