For this tutorial i am using Photoshop CS but any version would be fine.
1. Start with a solid background, I am using Black but you can use any color. ![]() 2.Type your text, once again you can use any color. ![]() 3. Next you want to duplicate that layer, I named mine "Mirror" and rasterize it, you will see why in a minute. ![]() 4. Next File>Transform>Flip Vertical. ![]() 5.Then use your gradient tool and determine what you think looks right. Then use the Rectangular Marquee tool and select the area from the middle of the top letters to the bottom of the canvas. ![]() 6. Now use your gradient tool, make sure you are on the background layer (The black one). It will look like this ![]() 7. Now you are almost done, use the blur tool and blur the perspective and blur the mirrored text. ![]() You're done! Flyboy

I took a screen shot of the forum, Made a 500px X 150px Canvas and used the color of the forum as the background so it would seem that the letters are only there. And for the letters i just used a certain font (forget it at the moment) with a gradient stroke.
