mate

as u slice up

u can select the img u want and save it as what .jpg? .gif? .png? as u want
when the sliced piece is orange u can save that or those that are orange at what extention u want....

i recommend those with graphics u save as jpg.. those with less graphics u save as gif.. if i remember correctly =D

blue are unselected slices.. so orange is what selected....

so first start of with low grapichs and save those as gif..

then those with more graphics.. and save those as jpg. or png =D

btw the best way to make web page is to use <div class=banner></div> then use css =) dont use tables =) div and css ftw =D class does so u can just go ccs #banner

connectionstech is an unknown quantity at this point

Guys see this link:

Code:
http://www.layersmagazine.com/image-slicing-in-photoshop-cs3.html
Maybe it'll help as this is what I think you are trying to achieve, there is a video version of the same kind of thing on there but you can dig around yourselves...

Please be aware that this is a table method but using the same kindof idea CSS is possible.

I can help you get it into html/css with dreamweaver, I use dreamweaver for my site and I have like 6500 page views a month (I don't think thats actually much, but it sounds cool to say xD). I can help you with ftp too, I use it a lot when I'm working on a site/page for someone.
