I am building a website for a Virtual Aerobatics Team on LockOn Flamming Cliffs that I fly for. I used Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Fireworkd to build a couple pages of it, and have the layout I want, but the only thing is I dont know how to export it to Dreamweaver, and from there how to get it into the ftp in the correct fashion. If someone could please help out a bit, as I said, I have the design, what I want the pages to say and have, and got my FTP ready, just need some help getting it built. Thanks alot for reading this!

Hey,
The problem you have is called 'slicing'. Maybe post the layout here in an image. And if it isn't too difficult, I will do that for you . Or tell you how to do it . Apart of that, I suggest you to google for 'slicing layout' or something like that. So next time, you do it yourself. And further, I suggest you not to use the visual (design) aspect of Dreamweaver, but the coding aspect. It is much better that you understand the code, and know how it works, rather than you just see what is going on. Grtzz styx PS: for slicing, I suggest you to use DIVs. Although I am not really happy about the new way of making lay-outs in html, using DIVs rather than TABLEs, it is just how it is done at the moment.

Sorry for not getting back earlier, been working day and night on my website pages...but there was a problem that came up, the files are .png with all the slices for links. Is there a way to convert the .png and all its slices to an .html to put on my site? Or is anyone able to do that? Thanks!

You need to break your image (of the full page) into parts, otherwise ... you can't use the website.

Was their a reason for not using "Hot spots"? You might not need to slice anything.

there is am option in photoshop cs3 where you can embedd the link as you build the template. you can do everything right in ps before you export it.
i do recomend hot spots they aren't gonna screw up your site at all. they are mapped to that spot only if you do it right. but if you are just building the template without the button the buttons you do build can have the link embeded in them. need help send me the template and let me have a go at it. i can send it back to you that day and you can follow what i did as i will detail it for you. let me know.
